You’re paying for our legal expertise, not the rent on a flash office

Sorry, but you won’t find plush leather armchairs in reception or, indeed, a reception!  We run a tight-ship and our overheads are modest and we pass some of the benefit of this on to our clients.  We think you would much rather have value for your money than be paying for an extravagant working environment for us.

Everyone likes a degree of certainty.  So, wherever possible, we quote a fixed price for the work we will do.  Where hourly rates are unavoidable, we keep ours as competitive as possible.  In some cases, we are able to offer “no-win, no-fee” agreements.

Whenever possible, we do all our work by email…

• It’s fast and our clients benefit by not having to wait needlessly for paper correspondence to go back and forth by snail mail.  (Unfortunately, the lawyer on the other side may not share our time-saving viewpoint…)
• It’s efficient.  Once we have found something efficient and which works, it’s difficult for us to revert to something inefficient.

• It’s better for the environment.  It says on the Internet (so it must be true) that people use on average 325kg of paper every year and it makes up 40% of household waste.

We are flexible

Within reason, we are contactable out of hours and we are happy to discuss your case at a time convenient to you for case updates.  We often work evenings and over the weekend so don’t be surprised if you receive emails etc. during this time.
